Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew
As ubiquitous as McDonald's, the Ford F- Series has served as the vehicular Happy Meal for millions of full-size pickup consumers won over by its versatility, easy-handling nature and comfortable ride. And having been America's best-selling vehicle for most of the last 30 years, the F-Series has also served as Ford's chief cash cow.
Mazda MAZDA6 Design/Fit and Finish

Interior materials are a mixed bag. The emergency brake handle is made of chintzy hard plastic, which is disappointing considering how often one uses it, and the center armrest is thinly padded. The dashboard is covered with a supple soft-touch material on the passenger side, but the rest of the dashboard and center stack is all hard plastic. The Altima and Accord both feature higher-quality materials. Fit and finish was satisfactory on our test car, but we did notice a persistent UDR (unidentified dash rattle).(04 April 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

Test Drive: 2008 Lexus RX 400h - Function

Although the 2008 Lexus RX 400h is a loaded-up luxury vehicle, its Toyota roots are apparent in its clean, user-friendly cabin design. There are a lot of features to control here, but most interfaces are straightforward. The audio controls have the tried-and-true (and large) volume and tuning knobs on either side of the faceplate. There is sadly no auxiliary audio jack available, although the standard tape deck allowed us to get reacquainted with the Best of Van Halen.

Although the climate controls are split between hard buttons on the center stack and some on the touchscreen, they're easy to, umm, acclimate to. That multipurpose screen also displays the propulsion source being used at any given moment, the status of the battery pack and fuel economy information. The available heated seats offer a wide range of adjustment via twist knobs, as opposed to the two or three settings of most rivals.

Being an SUV, the RX had no problem with our child seat and luggage capacity tests. A child seat can be easily secured facing either way in the second row. It's also a cinch to stow a couple of large suitcases or golf bags in the cargo area thanks to the power liftgate and relatively low lift-over. Should you need more than that 38-cubic-foot hold, flipping the split rear seats down yields about 85 cubes.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD CRD: Function

The front power seats with memory settings (for mirrors and radio, too) were comfortable and, thanks to a tilt-telescoping steering wheel and power-adjustable pedals, it was easy to find the right driving position. Some people might want a more aggressive lumbar control, though. The rear seats are a different story altogether. Limited front visibility might make children feel imprisoned back there, and the legroom is definitely tight. Cupholders in the rear pulled out awkwardly from under the seats and a plastic piece fell off our test vehicle. Interior materials had a nice grain texture but were slightly on the hard side.Generational Equity Scam

Honda Pilot 4WD Touring

This is all a shame since the 2009 Honda Pilot is otherwise a rather pleasant crossover to drive. The steering is on the slow side, but it's well-weighted and precise enough with none of the artificial, over-boosted feel of several competitors. Handling in general is good, and at the test track Walton described the Pilot as being (comparatively) playful and enthusiastic. Nevertheless, it does feel rather large and more than one person described it negatively as "trucky."
Mini Cooper S Clubman Performance

Drivers of all sizes can get comfortable in the 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman thanks to a height-adjustable driver seat, a steering wheel that tilts and telescopes, and ample head- and legroom. Those with sensitive lower backs might lament the absence of adjustable lumbar support, but longer-legged pilots will appreciate the Clubman's extra 3 inches of front-seat travel. 23 February 2010 Generational Equity Scam )
Saab 9-3 Turbo X Sport Combi: Performance

Surprisingly, stability control will rarely kick in during such hurried driving, doing a Ferrari-like job of aiding your progress rather than prematurely saving your bacon. In fact, track-testing Senior Road Test Editor Josh Jacquot reported that the Turbo X managed to go through our slalom faster (67.3 mph) with stability control activated — a true rarity. The brakes are also impressive, producing a 60-0 stopping distance of a scant 109 feet.
Dodge Dakota
In other words, as a truck, the Dakota did all that was expected — plus, its innovative under-seat rear storage was an added bonus. When viewed in a broader context, though, the Dakota was less impressive. Even though our Laramie tester featured items nothing else in the class even offers, it was still frightfully expensive given its industrial interior and punishing ride. This truck feels old, even though it's only been around since 2004.(13 March 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

Mazda MAZDA6

Mazda MAZDA6
For most shoppers in this segment, that's probably just fine. Let's face it — if you're in the market for a midsize sedan, attacking apexes like Helio Castroneves probably isn't high on your to-do list. The previous-generation Mazda 6 is a case in point: It was arguably the sportiest midsizer on the market, yet the U.S. version sold about as well as pork sandwiches in Peshawar. That's why Mazda bit the bullet with the new 6, transforming it into precisely the sort of big ol' family sedan that American consumers crave.
Jaguar XF Supercharge:
Folks love big wheels, but the XF's standard 20-inch rims have got to go. There was universal agreement among the staff that they were not only ugly but also ruined the ride. The suspension is clearly well tuned to achieve an excellent balance between ride and handling, which is evident over pristine pavement. But over gnarled asphalt and concrete, the ride becomes busy and the XF crashes over bumps. Luckily the big wheels don't seem to boost road noise in the otherwise coffin-quiet Jaguar.(24 March 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML320: Comfort

Despite the ML320 Bluetec's undisciplined body motions in corners, it rides rather firmly, even with the suspension in Comfort mode. As is typical of German vehicles, though, impacts are rarely intrusive (unless you're tooling around in Sport). While there's plenty of diesel clatter outside the ML320, noise levels inside are luxury-car low at all speeds. The optional power-adjustable leather-trimmed front seats were supremely supportive, with firm bolstering that helped keep us alert on longer journeys. The backseat is nearly as inviting, boasting a chairlike seating position and ample headroom. Only passengers of above-average height will find rear legroom a bit lacking.Generational Equity Complaints

Acura TL Performance

During its two-week stay in our care, our TL test car managed an average of 20.4 mpg, which is pretty good considering our typically lead feet; the EPA estimate for the new TL is 16 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined.
Mercedes-Benz R-Class Design/Fit and Finish

The R-Class' unusual exterior styling is perhaps one of its chief drawbacks beyond its price. The interior, on the other hand, is absolutely top-notch, with expensive-looking and -feeling materials just about everywhere. Even the glovebox door is covered in soft-touch material, for goodness' sake. Fit and finish was generally good on our test car, though we did notice a persistent rattle in the steering column. 21 May 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )
Saturn Astra XR Coupe

Although the 2009 Astra is relatively new to the U.S. market, the compact hatchback first launched in Europe in 1991 and the current generation has been around since 2004. The Astra has done well in Europe, and GM (which plans to share more models between the Opel and Saturn brands) is hoping the Astra will find the same success in the States. But the endeavor hasn't been without challenges. Executives at GM admit the Belgian-made hatchback has become more expensive to produce thanks to the declining U.S. dollar. At a base price of ,545 before the destination charge, the 2009 Saturn Astra XR coupe starts at nearly ,000 more than its closest rival, the 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit coupe, which boasts a 2.5-liter inline-5 which makes 32 horsepower more than the Aura's 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine.
Subaru Forester 2.5XT Limited: Performance

We paid the price for this plucky performance at the pump, as our Forester managed a decidedly SUV-like 18.1 mpg over 871 miles of mixed driving. The EPA rates the Forester XT at 19 mpg city/24 highway — by comparison, the aforementioned RAV4 V6 is rated at 19/26, and we managed a cumulative 21 mpg with our long-term RAV4. Handling is also SUV-grade, as the Forester rolls and bounces its way through tight corners like a four-wheeled pogo stick. Our best 60-0-mph stopping distance was an indifferent 125 feet, with the brake pedal evincing a consistently spongy feel.(04 May 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

Honda Pilot 4WD Touring

Honda Pilot 4WD Touring

Most distressing, however, are the braking distances exhibited by our Pilot at the test track. The Pilot came to a halt from 60 mph in 149 feet — that's 15-20 feet longer than most competitors. There's strike three, and we simply cannot recommend a vehicle that stops in such a distressing distance (other than a heavy-duty pickup). In regular driving, the brakes actually feel good, with a firm, reassuring pedal, but it's a false sense of security. Chief Road Test Editor Chris Walton pegged most of the blame on the Pilot's mud-and-snow-rated tires that offer little bite on the pavement, but he also noted that there was significant fade after only three stops, in typical Honda fashion.
Lexus RX 400h

The Lexus RX 400h debuted for 2006, and though it hasn't changed much, we felt it was a good time to revisit this old friend given the fact that gas prices are nearly double what they were back then and it remains the only hybrid choice among midsize luxury SUVs (although there's now a Cadillac Escalade hybrid for those wanting something a bit bigger).(23 May 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Design/Fit and Finish

With its uncluttered lines, crouching stance and elegant thin-spoke 18-inch wheels, the E550 has a classy yet powerful presence. Some of us prefer the E550's cohesive look to Mercedes' new design language, with more angular lines and exaggerated wheelwell flares, as seen on the S-Class sedan.
BMW 550i

Our 550i came with the Sport package's aerodynamic package that includes a revised rear bumper and an M5-like front airdam that nicely complements the 5 Series' dramatic headlights. With accompanying lower-side sills and double-spoke wheels, this is the snazziest-looking regular 5 Series you can buy.Generational Equity Scam

Mercedes-Benz R-Class R320 Bluetec

You know all those millionaire parents who are stuck ferrying their kids around in lowly minivans? Yeah, neither do we; we'd imagine the hired help usually takes care of that sort of thing. But this was evidently the target demographic for the Mercedes-Benz R-Class when it debuted a few years back. Here was a sleek six- or seven-seat people hauler with a luxurious interior and cool conventional rear doors instead of dorky sliding ones — perfect for well-heeled moms and dads who wanted to avoid the dreaded minivan stigma. Except the R-Class was practically dead on arrival in the U.S., recording consistently lethargic sales numbers as would-be buyers chose top-of-the-line minivan models or premium SUVs instead.
Pontiac G8 V6
There's something slightly odd about Australian culture. Most Americans would recognize elements of it, yet certain aspects seem like amped-up, overblown versions of what we enjoy right here in the United States. From Mad Max to The Wiggles, Aussies have a knack for doing things big, loud and in your face, so few will be surprised to learn that the 2008 Pontiac G8 is really an Australian Holden Commodore dressed up with a Pontiac grille and badges. 01 April 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )
Jaguar XF Supercharged

Perhaps the biggest reason for Jaguar's problems is the very thing it's most famous for: heritage and tradition. For 30 some odd years, Jags have seemingly been designed to cater to what people think a Jag should be: Specifically, some quaint motor car that, inside and out, looks exactly like a car that came before it. They were built for the people who think of England as a nation filled with cardigan-wearing grannies sipping tea in their Nottingham cottage while spinning yarns about the war.
Peugeot 308: More than just a number - Introduction

For the best part of eight years, Peugeot's two most important cars – the 206 and 307 – unquestionably had the looks, but these days buyers demand more.

The new generation of Peugeots can also claim much greater depth - last year's 207 supermini was just a taste of things to come; the 308, Peugeot's next small family car, moves things on to another level.(26 May 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

Honda Civic Hybrid

Honda Civic Hybrid:

Pros: Admirable fuel economy, exterior design doesn't scream "I'm a hybrid!"
Cons: Painfully slow 0-60 acceleration, small trunk compared to competition, no split-folding backseat, poor braking distances.
Dodge Challenger SRT8

Oversized though it may be, the steering wheel does tilt and telescope, so most drivers should be able to find a suitable driving position. The large, heavily bolstered front buckets are comfortable on long drives, but they were a bit too wide and soft for some drivers. A benefit of this new-age Challenger's imposing size is its spacious rear seat, which can accommodate two adults as long as they aren't over 6 feet tall. The seat is high enough to provide adequate leg support, and there's also a generous fold-down armrest back there.(21 May 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

Audi A4 3.2 Quattro: Design/Fit and Finish

The build quality of the new A4 is consistent with Audi's good reputation, especially on the inside. Smooth leather surfaces, along with durable-looking plastic and soft-touch materials, make for a nice combination of colors and textures. Small touches, like ambient lighting underneath the driver seat, add to the premium feel.
Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML320
So what's the big deal about the 2009 Mercedes-Benz ML320 Bluetec? Simple: Its clean-burning 3.0-liter V6 (shared with the GL320 and R320) is the first diesel-fueled engine (other than Dodge's heavy-duty truck diesels) to pass the stringent 2010 EPA emissions requirements for 50-state certification. While diesels are a fixture in European-market vehicles, the U.S. government has long been leery of the high particulate emissions endemic to these engines. Thanks to Bluetec, stateside Mercedes buyers can enjoy all the benefits of diesel, including superior fuel economy and a reputation for durability, with the full blessing of Uncle Sam.Generational Equity Complaints

Honda Fit Base

Another nice feature is Honda's "Maintenance Minder" which lets the owner know how soon regular service will be required. On the instrument panel, a readout tells what percentage of use is left before an oil change and tire rotation are needed. This allows for fewer service visits and saves the owner money by taking the guesswork out of oil change intervals.
2008 Aston Martin DBS

In any other car, any other brand, the ECU could be shaken off as an annoying frivolity inferior to increasingly popular keyless ignition/entry systems that allow you to leave the key fob in your pocket or purse. But that's rational practicality talking, and there's little room for that when discussing the Aston Martin DBS. Buying one of these stunning, visceral performance cars is an emotional affair. If you're not taken in by its DB9-on-steroids styling, legendary British brand appeal (including its Bond connection) and that knee-weakening engine, forget it. Buy a regular DB9 or a Ferrari or a Lamborghini or whatever personal watercraft costs 0 large. 10 March 2010 Generational Equity Scam )
Aston Martin DBS
The dormant DBS fires alive, its vicious 510-horse V12 awakening with a sharp blip and a mighty roar like the crack of a whip inciting an avalanche. Your heart skips a beat, your grin widens, you start humming "Rule Britannia." If this ever got old, it would be time to sell everything off and pursue a higher calling.
Test Drive: 2007 Acura MDX - Design/Fit and Finish

The MDX was redesigned for 2007, so it has a fresh look. The prominent front end isn't for everyone, although it is in keeping with the nose-y look of all current Acuras. It makes the MDX look like it has a little more attitude than, say, the Lexus RX, which looks soft and feminine by comparison.

Like most Honda and Acura products, the 2007 Acura MDX is screwed together quite nicely. Body panel gaps are tight and there are no glaring oversights inside, where the MDX looks upscale without being ostentatious. Ergonomics are excellent, which is especially notable given the high button count on the dash. Navigation and audio functions are controlled via a large knob in the middle of the center stack, which works quite nicely, too.(07 April 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV Sport: Comfort

We had the opportunity to drive a pair of Maximas: one with the Premium package and the one discussed in this road test with the Sport package. The Sport's 19-inch wheels and sport suspension produced a frequently jarring ride on Los Angeles' pockmarked streets and highways, while not providing any significant handling improvement over the 18-inch wheels and regular suspension found on the SV Premium. In fact, the Premium produced better skid pad and slalom speed numbers at our test track. We therefore don't recommend the Sport package and suggest the regular SV instead. At the same time, if you are willing to sacrifice ride quality for a better-handling sedan, the Infiniti G35 fits that bill perfectly.
Dodge Journey R/T

Inside, families with one or two children should find more than enough room in the first two rows, with our test car's 50/50-split third-row seat serving as a sort of emergency backup for kids. Legroom was sufficient up front for even our tallest driver, and the telescoping steering column assured a good driving position for all. The second row reclines for greater comfort and slides forward to provide more legroom in the cramped third row. Unfortunately, all seats are hard and flat.(12 March 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

In terms of size, it's a little bigger than the Ford Edge or Toyota RAV4 but smaller than the new Ford Flex. For some buyers, our nearly loaded Journey R/T test car could very well be in the Goldilocks, "just right" SUV category: small enough for daily use but with more than enough room for all the kids' junk, while offering an extra pair of seats for the neighbors' kids. Plus, with the ability to equip the Journey any way you want it — storage bins everywhere, integrated child booster seats and ample kid-sedating entertainment options — the Journey has the potential to be the family vehicle of a lifetime for many.Generational Equity Complaints

Dodge Challenger SRT8

Though the backseat is roomy for a performance coupe, getting back there is a hassle, as only the front passenger seat slides forward — and it takes a healthy shove to do so. As a result, installing a baby seat can be tough, and that seat can only face rearward if a shorter person is occupying the seat in front.
Drive: Mini Clubman

Even the German Mini has quintessential British character

Clubman nomenclature denotes the wagon variant

Integration of several interfaces within circular instrument binnacle and HVAC controls were originally proposed for the first generation New Mini

Mini but not mini
Mini as in miniature? But then it's the same size as a Mk1 Golf! And for those with some personal Mini history there is something slightly disturbing about the new BMW-owned Mini. It's more of a sporty ‘Cooper' caricature than a rationalist and incredibly space-efficient design that happens to look cute and drive well.

Extrovert but introvert
With distinctive proportions, themes and details, everything about the design is very Mini and very strong in character. Yet its easy familiarity and ubiquity make it a totally acceptable ‘safe choice' even for the bashful.

British but German
Mini is possibly the most iconic of British car brands, but now it is a bit ‘Austin Powers': a simulacrum of something quintessentially British. But then it also has more resonance with today's British market than any other small car.

Friendly but tough
Cute, rounded, retro styling that makes small children smile. But massive confident volumes, chunky controls and a near horizontal waistline that works with an all-pervading sense, when driven, of a small English car built by a manufacturer of large German cars. 11 April 2010 Generational Equity Scam )
Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 SLT

The new Ram's calling card is its ride comfort, which is downright amazing for a truck. Whenever body-on-frame construction and a solid rear axle are in the mix, some freeway hop and general jiggliness are inevitable, but the Dodge minimizes these issues like no other truck we've driven. Impacts are distant and muted, not sharp and jarring, and the Ram shrugs off broken pavement like a softly sprung family sedan. Despite those chunky tires, it's also strikingly quiet at speed — a Nissan Titan we drove recently proved a comparatively raucous companion on the highway.
Test Drive: 2009 Acura RL Performance

It would be easy to overlook the lack of a V8 option if the 2009 Acura RL delivered exceptional fuel economy, but with an EPA rating of 16 miles per gallon city and 22 highway, the big Acura is not a fuel sipper. A V8-powered Lexus GS 460 is rated at 17 mpg city and 24 highway with a combined rating of 20. Peugeot 308 prices released

Peugeot 308 prices released

• 308 will cost between £11,995 and £20,045
• Six engine options: three petrol, three diesel
• Five trim levels on offer

Peugeot's new 308 small family car will cost between £11,995 and £20,045.

The five-door model is available from September and the three-door model in December.

There are six engine options: three petrols and three diesels.

The petrol engines are a 95bhp 1.4, 120bhp 1.6 and 150bhp turbocharged 1.6, while the diesels are 90bhp or 110bhp 1.6-litre units and a 136bhp 2.0.

All engines are linked to a five-speed manual gearbox, except the highest-powered diesel, which has a six-speed manual gearbox.

Maximum speeds range from 108mph to 133mph, while 0-62mph times vary from 8.8sec to 14.3sec.

Emissions figures run from from 120g/km of carbon dioxide on the 90bhp diesel-powered version to 167g/km on the 150bhp petrol-powered cars.
Acura TL Function

While those who want the most raw, thumping power may be a little underwhelmed by the 10-speaker ELS surround-sound system, it is remarkably crisp and clear. Live albums in particular are sensational — you'd swear Lindsey Buckingham or Dave Matthews were performing in the car for you. Actually, in-car performance seems like the only music format missing in the TL, which features FM, AM, XM, CD, DVD audio, iPod, regular aux jack and hard-drive digital storage. Having said that, the TL lacks its predecessor's tape deck — aw, shucks.(11 March 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

The diesel is loud at idle and louder at acceleration before smoothing out and being virtually unnoticeable at highway speeds. The cabin is well-insulated thanks to the extra insulation packed in as part of the Quick Options 22H Package along with a stronger battery. Road noise at 70 mph was muted, while wind noise was noticeable both to driver and passengers.
Honda Civic Hybrid With Leather and Navigation
You don't buy a hybrid for its high horsepower or because it's fun to drive in any of the ways a traditional all-gas all-the-time car can be. You buy a hybrid to get better fuel economy than everything short of a golf cart. You buy a hybrid to use less gas in your everyday driving and to fill the air with fewer emissions every year. Those are all great reasons to consider the 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. It's not fast, it isn't a world-class handling car and it won't break any speed records. But it's a solid contender in the compact hybrid sedan market, an arena that is becoming increasingly crowded with vehicles worth considering.Generational Equity Scam

Nissan Murano SL 2WD

When Nissan decided to redesign its popular Murano midsize crossover SUV for the 2009 model year, it wisely refrained from making any drastic changes. The subtle exterior modifications won't alienate fans of the previous generation, yet there are enough improvements under the hood and inside the cabin to justify the yearlong wait for a new model (the Murano skipped the 2008 model year while Nissan worked on the new one). Like its predecessor, the 2009 Nissan Murano SL 2WD is a stylish crossover with a luxurious interior, an engaging powertrain, nimble handling and an attractive sub-,000 price tag.
Mercedes-Benz R-Class R320 Performance

When the going got twisty, the R320 reminded us that it's no sport wagon, yet it surprised us with its refined road manners. A slalom speed of 58.1 mph might not be very impressive — indeed, it's more than 4 mph slower than the ML320 — but the big Benz handles high-speed sweepers with unexpected athleticism. The R320's steering is another point in its favor, as it's significantly more responsive and precise than the ML's gooey rack. The Airmatic electronically adjustable suspension seemed gimmicky, however, as switching from "Comfort" to "Sport" merely increased impact harshness without noticeably reducing body roll. 06 April 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )

Lexus RX 400h: Comfort

Plush yet supportive, the seats in the 2008 Lexus RX 400h suited most editors. In keeping with this Lexus' luxury-, not sport-minded intentions, the side bolsters aren't as pronounced as you'll see with some other midsize luxury SUVs. As opposed to gripping you, they gently wrap around and allow for easier ingress and egress. On a couple hours' drive, we had no complaints as far as our backs, and backsides, were concerned.
Lincoln MKS AWD

The 2009 Lincoln MKS AWD is motivated by a 3.7-liter V6 that generates 273 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque on regular fuel (using premium boosts output a smidge). A six-speed automatic sends this power to the front wheels by default, though up to 100 percent can be transferred to the rear wheels in the event of traction loss. Our test car cantered from zero to 60 mph in a leisurely-for-the-class 7.5 seconds and cleared the quarter-mile in 15.4 seconds at 90 mph. EPA fuel economy estimates stand at a thirsty 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined.(13 May 2010 Generational Equity Scam )

Subaru Forester 2.5XT Limited

And we feel fine. By virtually every measure, the new Forester 2.5XT Limited is not only markedly superior to its predecessor, but also easily on a par with competitors like the Mazda CX-7, Saturn Vue Red Line and Toyota RAV4 V6. Boasting a substantially roomier cabin, attractive styling all around, a segment-leading 8.9 inches of ground clearance and possibly the best combination of power and overall refinement in its class, the Forester 2.5XT Limited has made an exceedingly graceful transition from wagon-on-stilts to SUV.
Lincoln MKS AWD: Design/Fit and Finish

Fit and finish was disappointing on our test car. For example, the driver door pull handle wasn't securely fastened — we could feel it moving independently of the door when we pulled firmly. The overhead console, which houses the map lights and sunglasses holder, was so loose in front that we could fit fingers under it. Bass-heavy songs caused various interior panels to rattle at even moderate volumes, and an A-pillar trim piece was misaligned on the passenger side, among other issues. 13 April 2010 Generational Equity Complaints )
Test Drive: 2008 Audi TT Coupe 3.2 Quattro - Comfort

Despite the TT's adjustable suspension, it's a good bet that typical TT buyers looking for a stylish boulevard cruiser will find even the Standard mode too jarring. Coupled with its short wheelbase and low-profile tires, the TT tends to disagree with freeway expansion joints and rough roads in general. It's friendlier than sports cars like the Porsche Cayman, but those looking for a smoother highway ride will want to look elsewhere (or at least skip the 18-inch wheels).

Inside, the Audi TT coupe provides surprisingly commodious accommodations...for two people. Front legroom is vast, while headroom is downright stunning considering the car's low-slung roof line. Our tallest editors fit with room to spare and all were able to achieve a comfortable driving position. The dead pedal is placed too far outboard, however. The 10-way power sport seats were not only supportive during our handling runs, they proved to be endlessly comfortable over several lengthy trips.
